Blogs? (4th 9 weeks)

So...Blogger. The year is almost over, and the last few days of class are being spent either working on the Senior video, working on the Hangover spoof episode, or working on other miscellaneous pieces of information or work that is assisting us in completing the final moments of the school year. For seniors, those last few days for us mean next Friday. That's the last day for Seniors. May 17th. One week from today. That's all. One. Uno. 1. It is almost too much to believe at times, that our time at Chiles has completely drawn to a close in a matter of 5 school days - less if we have AP exams. Which means only 3, not including today, school days left for me. That is all. The year has been great, with the usual rough patches along the way. But overall, I think we all had fun.

The yearbooks are coming. (4th 9 weeks)

It's the 4th 9 weeks, and it's almost time for the yearbooks to be here. The senior party for yearbooks is coming up this Thursday, May 9th. Underclassmen are getting there's the next Monday, May 14th. Just those dates show how late in the year it is. May. Seniors have only one more Monday left of high school. Time is going faster and faster. I can't wait.

Senioritis. (4th 9 weeks)

Seeing as the year is coming to a close and I was absent twice this week due to a college visit (at which I signed a lease for my apartment I will be living at in Orlano, FL while attending UCF), I have decided it best to leave you with the above embedded video as entertainment for the week.

Also, it is obvious a lot of us are starting to feel the effects of senioritis. It is definitely 4th 9 weeks, as everyone including myself are acting much more lackadaisical. Part of me can't wait for the year to be over, but another is sad to see high school go.

The final stretch. (4th 9 weeks)

The 4th 9 weeks is here. The final 9 weeks of high school. Couldn't have come fast enough.

Everyone is beginning to show a little more lackadaisicalness, and tiring out. Not too many shows left, 5 I believe, so we need to keep it together for just a while longer. After that, seniors will begin work on the senior video, so we should begin advertising that next week.

Overall, I've been trying to do at least two PSA/promos a week, but have been caught up with outside projects this past week.

Another week, another show. (3rd 9 weeks)

You know the year is getting close to over when the senior announcement yard signs begin going on sale. This usually signals the coming of graduation - which is just around the corner now.

With the end of the year coming, and "senioritis" onsetting, some are beginning to slow their pace (myself included at times). However, you can tell who is able to push through it by who is done in time, with extra in order to accomplish something more. It was predictable who would fall into each of those categories, as it's been obvious the entirety of this year. The lack of effort from some is beginning to show through stronger than ever.

Cap & Gown pictures... (3rd 9 weeks)

It really is almost the end of the school year, as Senior Cap & Gown portraits were taken last Friday. Can't believe the school year has gone so fast. I can remember sitting in here, waiting to find out how we were going to prepare for the first show. Now, we've been through weeks of shows, and it's become clear who does what, or lack thereof. Some segments have been getting delayed (Harmless?). Some peole are doing the average. Some are barely making it through, and others are just doing nothing. I keep up with the "at least one thing a week", and try to do more. I'm trying to get CRIBS going soon but other classes have just made me too busy, as some of that I would need to do outside of class to complete. Soon though. It is still early in the 3rd 9 weeks. Much more to come.
