It's the week before Thanksgiving break, and now two projects have been completed. Some people have turned in their Bear Managment contest project, and everyone by today should have completed the Motion for Promotion project (I recieved a 96). This week I started and completed my Overlay (screenshot below). Class is running smoothly, though Mrs Christie has been out most of this past week.



Motion for Promotion!

This past week we started the 2nd 9 weeks, and started work on 3 major projects. Motion for Promotion, Overlays, and choosing one of two contest, Fire Safety or Bear Management. I chose to do the Bear Managment so I have began working on the other two projects. Starting with Motion for Promotion, making a Valentines day project. I've noticed that the Music for Videos folder is beginning to already become slightly unorganized...but people need to realize there's a search bar at the top and th can find what they are looking for easily through that. Overall, nothing is wrong, class is going very smoothly. It might be helping me though seeing as I know how to do much of it already anyways.

Last day of the 1st 9 weeks, You Call The Shots is being uploaded by everyone, and we are ready for the 3 day weekend ahead of us. Been playing in Photoshop, trying random things, learning new After Effects, the list goes on. Attached is a little Matrix style picture I made in Photoshop in free time.

The first 9 weeks is coming to a close, and we are finishing up our last project for this first half of my first semester as a Junior at Chiles High. I have an A in the class, and am enjoying learning new things related to Premiere and After Effects. VideoCopilot is a site I discovered over the summer while learning After Effects, and when school started going I realized Mrs Christie and Wolfcenter uses the site for Wolfcenter animations. It's a great site, and if you like After Effeccts you should check it out.

Week of 9/16/11

It's the 4th week of school and it's going fast. The first Wolfcenter episode is today and we've already completed the first 2 projects. The Promo and the Lower Third. Yesterday (15th) was my birthday and today, the 16th, I'm going to see Larry the Cable Guy at the Civic Center, can't wait.

The First Week of School

It's official. School started. New classes, new classmates, and the occasional new face. It's already started fast, I've had homework in most of my classes everynight since Tuesday, the second day of school. Two honors classes, three AP, and then the most fun and entertaining, TV Pro. Back to PhotoShop expirements, Premiere exploring, and After Effects creating. It's going to be a fun year, and I'm looking forward to it 110%.
